New Mass Effect 2 DLC in March

Bioware continues to reward those who bought Mass Effect 2 new and retained their copy of it with more free content.  Bioware has announced new downloadable content — the Firewalker pack — available for free to Cerberus Network members in late March.  Bioware indicated that the content will allow players to access five new missions featuring a heavy assault hover vehicle, the Hammerhead.  Those who bought the game used and, therefore, probably did not have an unused Cerberus Network code to activate will have to pay 1200 Microsoft points to gain access to the network and the new content.

As a huge fan of the game who has explored every planet and completed every mission available in the game, I am thrilled about the new content to extend gameplay in the Mass Effect 2 universe.  I’m also very intrigued to see how the new vehicle is implemented.  Will the content include some open planet vehicle exploration like the first Mass Effect, with you running into a situation triggering a mission?  Or will the content drop you directly into linear missions, as was the new modus in Mass Effect 2, except that you can use the vehicle in the new missions?  Guess we shall find out in a few weeks!
